District Passes. To encourage teachers and their spouses to attend extracurricular events of Wabaunsee: • Each instructor, their spouse, and children under 18 years of age will be given a comprehensive pass for free admittance to any school sponsored event in the district. • Such passes could be purchased by the district and issued by the district office upon receiving a signed letter stating the names, numbers, etc. of those employed in each attendance area. Certified staff requesting release from contract other than at the end of the regular school year must contribute to the cost of such release by following the liquidated damage schedule that follows. The payment may be withheld from the teacher’s last paycheck. Release from new contract between May 20 and July 1 $1,000 Release between July 2 and before the end of the first semester or anytime during the second semester $2,000 Release at the end of the first semester $1,000 A teacher may be released from a contract without liquidated damages for the following reasons: Disabling illness, prolonged or sudden, of the teacher, the teacher’s spouse, child, or parent Death of the teacher’s spouse, child or parent Hardship case, which can be appealed to the board. An extreme change in teaching assignment will be considered a hardship that can be appealed to the board. The Board of Education reserves the right to grant or deny a request made pursuant to the above exceptions. There will be a period of five working days following ratification of the negotiated agreement during which an individual staff member may resign without penalty.

  • District The public agency or the school district for which the Work is performed. The governing board of the District or its designees will act for the District in all matters pertaining to the Contract.   • District Responsibilities With respect to all sums deducted by the District pursuant to authorization of the employee, whether for membership dues or equivalent fees, the District agrees promptly to remit such monies to the Association together with an alphabetical list of unit members for who such deductions have been made, categorizing them as to membership or non-membership in the Association, and indicating any changes in personnel from the list previously furnished.

  • FEDERAL JURISDICTIONAL AREAS 33.1. Article 1, § 8, Clause 17 of the United States Constitution provides the authority to Congress to exercise exclusive jurisdiction over areas and structures used for military purposes (Federal Enclaves). Thus, Telecommunications Services to such Federal Enclaves are not subject to the jurisdiction of the Commission. The Parties agree that Services provided within Federal Enclaves are not within the scope of this Agreement. To the extent Sprint has contracts with federal entities that limit or prohibit the ability of CLEC to provide resale or UNEs such contract will govern Telecommunications Services on such Federal Enclave. If the contract with the federal entity provides for the resale or provision of UNEs to provide service on the Federal Enclave, Sprint will provide CLEC with the information regarding the provision of service on the Federal Enclave.

  • District Approval The work completed herein must meet the approval of the District and shall be subject to the District’s general right of inspection and supervision to secure the satisfactory completion thereof.

  • Territories The Agreement territory is limited to the United States of America, including the District of Columbia, only. It does not include Canada or U.S. Territories including Guam, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands.

  • United States If you acquired the software in the United States, Washington state law governs the interpretation of this agreement and applies to claims for breach of it, regardless of conflict of laws principles. The laws of the state where you live govern all other claims, including claims under state consumer protection laws, unfair competition laws, and in tort.
