Certified Staff. Contractors may only complete work for which they have proper credentials, as defined in the section above. The certified staff employed by a Participating Contractor shall ensure that work performed in the Program adheres to the technical standards established and maintained by BPI or the credentialing organization, for each certification and meet the Program requirements outlined in the Contractor Resource Manual and MIG. Per Section 3.01(b), the Participating Contractor shall provide NYSERDA written documentation that identifies each individual in the Contractor’s business and their certifications. As an ongoing requirement, the Participating Contractor shall immediately inform the Program of any change to the list of certified staff.

Certified Staff. The Academy shall use only certified staff, including teachers, business officials and administrators, unless permitted to use staff without certifications, and then only in accordance with applicable law.
Certified Staff. A. The County will ensure that all historic preservation work carried out pursuant to the Agreement is carried out by or under the direct supervision of a person(s) who meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification standards published in Appendix A, 36 CFR Part 61. B. The County will notify the SHPO annually of the staff person(s) or consultants (“Certified Staff”), designated to administer the Agreement. The SHPO will evaluate the training and experience of the Certified Staff and advise the County if they are qualified to make determinations of eligibility, assess effect, and apply the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties (Standards). C. The County will notify the SHPO of any proposed staffing changes or vacancies. If the County does not have Certified Staff in place or if the SHPO determines that a County staff person or consultant is not qualified to carry out the review, the County and the SHPO will develop alternative administrative procedures for implementing this Agreement.
Certified Staff. 1. Procedure a. The Board shall follow Reduction in Force Guidelines pursuant to PA 097-0008 (Senate Bill 7). b. In the case of a reduction in professional staff members, the sequence of dismissal shall occur in accordance with the School Code. Each teacher shall be categorized into one or more positions for which the teacher is qualified to hold, based upon legal qualifications and any other qualifications established by the District job description, on or before the May 10 prior to the school year during which the sequence of dismissal is determined. Within each position and subject to agreements made by the joint committee on honorable dismissals that are authorized by subsection (c) of 24-12 of the School Code, the District shall pursuant to subsection (b) of 24-12 of the School Code establish four groupings of teachers qualified to hold the position. c. Among teachers qualified to hold a position, teachers must be dismissed in the order of their groupings with teachers in grouping one dismissed first and teachers in grouping four dismissed last. Within grouping one, the sequence of dismissal shall be at the discretion of the School District. Within grouping two, the sequence of dismissal shall be based upon average performance evaluation ratings, with the teacher or teachers with the lowest average performance evaluation rating dismissed first. d. A teacher’s average performance evaluation rating shall be calculated using the average of the teacher’s last two performance evaluation ratings, if two ratings are available, or the teacher’s last performance evaluation rating, if only one rating is available, using the following numerical values: 4 for Excellent; 3 for Proficient; 2 for Needs Improvement; and 1 for Unsatisfactory. As between or among teachers in grouping two with the same average performance evaluation rating and within each of groupings three and four, the teacher or teachers with the shorter length of continuing service with the District shall be dismissed first.

The Board shall, in addition to a Certified Staff member’s salary and supplemental pay, contribute to the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) an additional amount of 0.8% to be applied to the Teacher Health Insurance Supplement (THIS). Teachers shall assume any additional costs assessed by TRS. b. The Board shall, in addition to a Certified Staff member’s salary and supplemental pay, contribute to the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) an additional amount of 9.4% (Compounded to approximately 10.3753%). Certified Staff members shall assume any additional costs assessed by TRS.

The salary schedules in Appendix G will be implemented each year with the following base salary: 2014-15 school year: $38,665 2015-16 school year: $39,342 2016-17 school year: $40,030 2017-18 school year: $40,731 An employee shall be credited with one step on the salary schedule for each one hundred twenty (120) paid days in a school year at the start of each subsequent school year.
