District Protection. In cases of emergency, where the combined sick and short-term leave exceeds the number of available substitutes and other arrangements cannot be made, the District shall have the authority to call back those staff who have requested annual leave in reverse order from the date of request. Based upon date of leave request, no more than ten (10) percent of staff may use annual leave on any one day.
