Common use of Doctor's Certificate or Other Proof Clause in Contracts

Doctor's Certificate or Other Proof. To the extent permitted by law and after consultation with the Human Resources Director or their designee, proof of illness in the form of a doctor's certificate or an advice nurse statement may be required at any time after an employee has used fifty percent (50%) of their annual sick leave accrual in a calendar year. Proof of illness in the form of a doctor’s certificate or an advice nurse statement shall not be required at any time before an employee has used fifty percent (50%) of their annual sick leave accrual in a calendar year.
