Common use of Donated Sick Days Clause in Contracts

Donated Sick Days. N. Donated sick days may be granted to a teacher who is required for the essential care or recovery of an “immediate family” member. There shall be a limit of thirty (30) donated sick leave days per year for use by a teacher in relation to illnesses suffered by grandparents, father- in-law, mother-in-law, brother, sister, brother-in-law and sister-in-law. There shall be no limit to usage for spouse, children, either biological or adopted, parents or grandchildren. Other requests may be approved by the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources.
