Drivers and Bus. Monitors serving students with specialized behavioral and/or health plans may at times be required to attend short training sessions conducted by school personnel to ensure that they can provide appropriate supports to these students. School personnel will coordinate the dates and times of these trainings with management to minimize the additional time required.
Drivers and Bus monitors working during the summer and vacation periods of the school year shall be compensated based upon their regular contractual rate in accordance with Article X(4) - Summer and Vacation Period Employment.
Drivers and Bus. Assistants who have received uniforms for three (3) years or more may request a semi-annual payment of $65.00 for uniform cleaning and maintenance in lieu of uniforms. Such payments shall be made in September and January.
Drivers and Bus. Driver Assistants shall receive pay for the actual time when in attendance of 25 staff or safety meetings.
