Duration of Acting Assignment. The needs of the City shall prevail in determining the length of time which the employee will be required to assume the acting position.

Acting Assignment (a) For the purpose of this Agreement, acting assignment means the assignment of an employee on an acting basis to a Postmaster or Senior Assistant position which is at a higher classification level than the position to which he is appointed. An employee will perform the duties of the higher classification level that may be required during the acting assignment in order to be entitled to receive the acting pay.
Subcontracting; Assignment The Contractor may not subcontract any portion of the services provided under this Contract without obtaining the prior written approval of the Procurement Officer, nor may the Contractor assign this Contract or any of its rights or obligations hereunder, without the prior written approval of the Procurement Officer provided, however, that a contractor may assign monies receivable under a contract after due notice to the State. Any subcontracts shall include such language as may be required in various clauses contained within this Contract, exhibits, and attachments. The Contract shall not be assigned until all approvals, documents, and affidavits are completed and properly registered. The State shall not be responsible for fulfillment of the Contractor’s obligations to its subcontractors.
Teaching Assignment For teaching faculty, the teaching assignment will be one or a combination of programs, courses, or student originated studies offerings (all of which are collectively referred to as “academic offerings” below). For full-time faculty the normal teaching assignment will be a program. For part-time faculty the normal assignment is either a program and/or course(s), depending on the terms of their contract. In addition, faculty may support individual learning contracts.
Duration of Assignments Consideration must be given to the health and safety of personnel when assigned to fires of long duration. It is agreed that duration of assignments is dictated by each Party’s policy. Extension of assignments beyond the Supporting Party’s policy may be requested. It is the responsibility of the Protecting Party to request relief personnel in advance of the Supporting Party’s policy time limit. The Protecting Party is further responsible for the transportation costs of moving personnel to the fire and returning those relieved personnel back to their home stations. In all cases, the Department and Forest Service agree that their Incident Commanders will release suppression resources to their primary mission responsibilities as soon as priorities allow. The National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) has established guidelines for the length of assignments for resources and personnel who accept out of state assignments. Personnel who accept assignments out of the state are expected to adhere to the guidelines identified by NWCG. For incidents within the state, there is a required 7 day minimum commitment. Both Parties agree to honor the minimum length of assignments guidelines.
Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.
Acting Assignment Pay 181. Employees assigned by the Appointing Officer or its designee to perform a substantial portion of the duties and responsibilities of a higher classification shall receive compensation at a higher salary if all of the following conditions are met:
DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT The scope of services of this Assignment shall be completed no later than August 31, 2023, unless terminated earlier as provided in Section 3.2 of the Agreement. The schedule is subject to adjustments for possible time extension; however, any extension of time must be approved by the TFC and shall require an amendment to Assignment No. 1.
Subletting Assignment Check the appropriate box to allow or deny the tenant to sublet the dwelling unit. If a landlord is allowing the tenant to sublet, it is important to indicate the number of days the tenant must notify the landlord of the subtenant’s contact information. Section VIII.
SPECIAL TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS A. Assignments for the Adult Education, Driver Education and Summer School Program will be made by the Board on the basis of preference to teachers possessing permanent teaching certificates regularly employed in the district during the normal school year.
Assignment of the Contract The Contractor shall not sell, transfer, assign, or otherwise dispose of the Contract or any portion thereof or of any right, title, or interest therein without prior written consent of the Division. Any such purported assignment or transfer shall be void. If approved, any assignee shall be subject to all terms and conditions of this Contract and other supplemental contractual documents. No approval by the Division of any assignment may be deemed to obligate the Division beyond the provisions of this Contract. This provision includes reassignment of the Contract due to change in ownership of the Contractor. The Division shall at all times be entitled to assign or transfer its rights, duties, and/or obligations under this Contract to another governmental agency in the State of Mississippi upon giving prior written notice to the Contractor.
