Duration of Agreement and Permit. The duration of the Agreement is 30 years from the date upon which the Parties have signed the Agreement. The specified take authorization for each covered species on the enhancement of survival permit, issued in accordance with the Agreement, will become effective on the date that each Covered Species is listed under the ESA. The permit will expire on the same date upon which the Agreement expires. The Parties agree that the Covered Species have been, are being and will continue to be benefited by the conservation measures outlined in the Agreement, as they may be adaptively adjusted by mutual agreement of the Parties over time.

Duration of Agreement and Permit. ‌ The CCAA, including any commitments related to funding under Service programs, will be in effect for 25 years following its approval and signing by the Parties. CI Participants signing this Agreement under the umbrella Agreement will sign on for a minimum of five (5) years. The section 10(a)(1)(A) permit authorizing take of the species will become effective on the date of the final rule listing EMR and will expire when this CCAA expires or is otherwise suspended or terminated. The permit and CCAA may be extended beyond the specified terms prior to permit expiration through the permit renewal process and with agreement of the Parties.
