Duties of a Shutdown Area Supervisor (FL). The Shutdown Area Supervisor role is a hands on position and is responsible for carrying out the work assigned in his or her allocated area. While completing these tasks, the Shutdown Area Supervisor shall ensure a high level of work quality while supporting the contract labour working alongside. It is the intention of the Company to gain early commitment from Area Supervisors to support safe, efficient and effective planned shutdowns. The Company will seek Expressions of Interest and commitment for Area Supervisors 6 months in advance of the planned K2 Major Shutdown commencement, 3 months in advance of the planned K1 & Cement Mill major shutdowns. Those who by agreement appear on the Shutdown Structures, will be entitled to the Area Supervisors from 2 weeks prior to the Major Shutdown Commencement dates. Area Supervisors commit to actively participating in the planning cycle from the date of their agreement on a as required basis. The role of Area Supervisor is not mandatory and shall be agreed upon by each individual from the team. At any point individuals can remove themselves from the Area Supervisor role if the situation/circumstance changes and they feel they cannot fulfil the responsibilities/requirements of the role.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK Firms and/or individuals that assisted in the development or drafting of the specifications, requirements, statements of work, or solicitation documents contained herein are excluded from competing for this solicitation. This shall not be applicable to firms and/or individuals providing responses to a publicly posted Request for Information (RFI) associated with a solicitation.

  • Supervision of Contractor Personnel The Contractor must supply all necessary and sufficient supervision over the work that is being performed and will be held solely responsible for the conduct and performance of his employees or agents involved in work under the Agreement.

  • Supervisors Working (a) The work of Supervisors will not include assignment to work normally performed by employees of the bargaining unit except for training or demonstration. “Training or demonstration” shall not be used as a subterfuge for the performing of any bargaining unit work.   • Synchronisation Commissioning and Commercial Operation 8.1 The Developer shall provide at least forty (40) days advanced preliminary written notice and at least twenty (20) days advanced final written notice to ESCOM of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Power Project to the Grid System.

  • WORK BY SUPERVISORS Supervisors and all other excluded employees will not work on any job for which rates are established by this agreement, except for the purpose of instruction, experimenting, safety or environ- mental reasons or when regular employees are not available.

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.

  • Supervision of Work The TSP shall provide all necessary superintendence for execution of the Project and its supervisory personnel shall be available to provide full-time superintendence for execution of the Project. The TSP shall provide skilled personnel who are experienced in their respective fields.
