EAGLE Object Sample Clauses

EAGLE Object. The root entity in EACM is called EAGLE Object and it is the base class for all the other derived entities in the EAGLE domain. Everything modeled in EAGLE is an extension of a generic EAGLE Object implementing one of its subentities. The subentities are: ● Trimegistos card ● Artifact ● Inscription ● Visual representation ● Documental manifestation All the information coming into the EAGLE aggregation system has to find its place into one or multiple instances of the subentities mentioned above. The five subentities share several common properties, which are listed below (please note that many of the following definitions have already been defined both in EpiDoc and CIDOC-CRM): ● Resource identifier: an ID identifying the object univocally within the EAGLE aggregation system; ● Provenance information: this structured property provides information about the Content Provider providing metadata: ○ Content Provider name; ○ Content Provider URI; ○ Content Provider acronym; ○ Local identifier of the resource (i.e. local resource ID at the Content Provider). ● Metadata editing information: this structured property captures information (if available) about the last modification of metadata content and its author/curator; ● Metadata intellectual property rights statement (IPR): information about the copyright status of the resource; ● Title: title of the resource (if available); ● Description: short description of the resource (if available); ● EAGLE object type: a string specifying which subclass of the EAGLE Object the resource belongs to. To ensure the provision of correct de-duplicated results for the search capabilits provided by the EAGLE portal, it is vital to have in the Trismegistos Card (for each TM number) full details about the provenance of the different instances of an inscription, including both the owning Content Provider object id locally valid at the Content Provider. Trismegistos Cards therefore consist in: ● A TM number, which is the unique identifier assigned by the Louvain-Trismegistos team to each inscription being analyzed; ● One or more properties derived fron the Tr...
