Training Objectives. The Master in Earth sciences offers a training that combines fundamental science and practical applications with a view to addressing geological problems of the planet. It aims to provide students with the tools necessary to manage fields governing Earth Sciences through a multidisciplinary approach: geodynamics of mountain chains and its underlying physical processes, the geochemistry of mantle and terrestrial crust, the evolution of life, oceans and paleoclimate through the study of sedimentary rocks, monitoring and modeling of surface geophysical processes, reservoir geology and basin analysis, mineral resources, and geological hazards. Students use analytical methods and laboratories and are involved in field studies, in collaboration with academic, research and industrial partners. The skills acquired during this program prepare concretely to professional duties and to very varied insertion areas in the sphere of Earth Sciences. In this context, at the end of the Master, students are able to: • Analyze the challenges in the field of Earth Sciences. • Develop critical thinking, capacity for analysis and synthesis in the management of contemporary issues related to Earth Sciences. • Propose solutions to complex problems in geology on the basis of technical knowledge, of field measurements, of quantitative data processing and of modeling methods. • Use sharp tools in Earth Sciences (equipment and analytical techniques, laboratories). • Conduct an independent and innovative research by incorporating theoretical and experimental aspects, as well as practice acquired in the field at a national or international level. • Work both independently and in groups. • Be capable of effective oral and written communications, including in English. • Argue from solid and consistent basis in the field of Earth Sciences; demonstrate logically a scientific argument and convince a varied audience while being open to new ideas.
Training Objectives. CRYSTAL2PLATE is designed as a coherent platform for training and career development of early-stage researchers (ESR) and experienced researchers (ER), which aims to structure the collaboration in research and training between 7 leading academic centres in Solid Earth Sciences in Europe, bringing together a new combination of in-depth expertise from 6 countries. 2 high- technology SMEs specialized in programming and scientific instrumentation and 2 large companies in the oil and gas exploration field are associated to the network, allowing an opening to different aspects of the industrial world. The network as a whole undertakes to provide a minimum of 408 person-months of Early Stage and Experienced Researchers whose appointment will be financed by the contract. Quantitative progress on this, with reference to the table contained in Part C and in conformance with relevant contractual provisions, will be regularly monitored at the consortium level. Training objectives of CRYSTAL2PLATE are two-fold: • to convey theoretical and practical training in state-of-the-art concepts and leading-edge techniques in Earth Sciences and connected scientific disciplines, such as physics, chemistry, programming, and material sciences, to the 12 young researchers, but also to a larger community of Europeans and overseas scientists. • to assist the ESRs and ERs in developing their future careers in academia or industry by providing them strong organisational, presentation, team-building, networking, and management skills as well as solid professional connections. These objectives will be attained through: • a personalized training program, mutually agreed on recruitment and regularly evaluated and updated in agreement with the CRYSTAL2PLATE Supervisory Board. Collaborative research projects lie at the core of the training program, which for the ESRs will lead to a PhD degree. This hands-on formation will be completed by specialized scientific courses, as well as seminars and short courses aiming to develop their communication, organisation, and management skills or to initiate them to the industrial life. • short-courses and summer schools on leading-edge research techniques specially designed for the CRYSTAL2PLATE network; • annual workshops open to the international scientific community, where the ESRS and ERs will be exposed to state-of-the-art research in Geodynamics, present their results, and make contacts; • practical activities aimed at helping the ESRs and ERs to de...
Training Objectives. ‌ The goal of the training program is to provide students with the basic skills required to work in the audiovisual industry, with special focus on the skills required for involvement in international co-productions. The program focuses on developing specialized skills required for documentary filmmaking, offering three different majors, designed to offer job opportunities in the audiovisual industry.
Training Objectives. The Training Programme is designed to provide Architects and Civil engineers with the skills and technical knowledge requested both by investors and EU energy policy to reduce the gap between designed and actual energy performance and measurable energy savings through introducing BIM (Building Information Modeling). The curriculum of the program focuses on the development of fundamental BIM skills and problem-solving strategies. Another objective is to link education with activities of New Knowledge and Skills management Center in Skopje.  Ensure that all impacted stakeholders understand the role of using BIM as an open tool,  Ensure receive relevant training to prepare stakeholders for new working practices and workflow,  Ensure appropriate level of knowledge is delivered as a base for model- oriented training,  Ensure appropriate level of skill is reached in order to perform roles. The following bullets describe what is “in scope” for the project:  Employees and managers who will need training on in order to understand BIM processes will be included “in scope” for the purposes of training development The following bullets describe what is “out of scope” for the project:  The training of wide spectrum of software and adaptation of any training- related documents to individual teams/companies will be “out of scope” and will be the responsibility of the individual companies. Although Knowledge and Skills management Centre may provide paid form of services to meet this requirement.
Training Objectives. To develop skilled, knowledgeable, qualified trade and non trade personnel. • To help meet the needs of the Company in achieving efficient, profitable operations. • To provide a means through which trade and non trade employees can gain the knowledge and skill which will enable them to progress through the trade and non trade career structures and beyond. • To be the means through which trade and non trade personnel can maintain the required level of knowledge. • To enable trade and non trade personnel to keep abreast of new equipment, techniques and technological developments. • To help trade and non trade employees develop the range of their personal abilities so that they can realize their full potential.
