Early Termination of Leave. Termination of a leave of absence (except those listed below) before its expiration date will be considered when the member submits a written request for such early termination to the Executive Director – Human Resources. If there are no vacancies at the time of the request, early termination of the leave shall be at the discretion of the Superintendent and in accordance with the needs and interests of the schools. Members returning from leave The Board’s responsibility for the placement of a member returning from leave is to place the teacher in the same assignment held at the time said leave commenced or an equivalent position.
