Earned Noon Supervision Leave Hours may be carried over to the following year, to a maximum of twelve (12) hours. Earned Noon Supervision Leave Hours above the maximum will be paid out at the rate of $15.00 per hour.

Union Leave of Absence An employee on an unpaid Union leave of absence shall have her wages, benefits and seniority continued by the Employer, and the Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for the costs of such wages and benefits. Employees requesting leave under this article will provide the Employer with as much advance notice as possible of the dates of the leave. Where there are less than fifteen (15) regular employees at a workstation at the time the leave request is submitted, and subject to operational requirements, unpaid Union leave of absence will be granted to one employee for the purpose of conducting Union business. This would be an additional person on Union leave at worksites where the position of the Union President or Council member has been backfilled for the duration of their term of office. Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.
Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.
Notification of Sick Leave Days The Board shall notify employees and the Bargaining Unit, when they have exhausted their 11 days allocation of sick leave at 100% of salary.
Sabbatical Leave Committee Shall consist of the following:
Vacation Earnings for Partial Years (a) (1) During the first partial year of service a new employee will earn vacation at the rate of one and one-quarter (1¼) days for each month for which he/she earns ten (10) days' pay.

Personnel Selection Leave 35.6.1 Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process for a position in the Public Service, as defined in the Financial Administration Act, the Council shall grant leave of absence with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Council considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.
Annual Paid Sick Leave Fifteen (15) days sick leave per year shall be earned by an employee at the rate of 1.25 days for every month that an employee is employed.

An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.
