Earning Vacation Leave. A. After 1 Year of Service Each full-time employee, after one (1) year of service with the University, shall have earned and will be due upon the attainment of the first year of employment, and annually thereafter, eighty (80) hours of vacation leave with full pay. One (1) year of service shall be computed on the basis of twenty-six (26) biweekly pay periods. B. With 5 Years or More of Service A full-time employee with five (5) or more years of service with the University (or State) shall have earned and is entitled to one hundred twenty (120) hours of vacation leave with full pay. C. With 10 Years or More of Service A full-time employee with ten (10) or more years of service with the University (or State) shall have earned and is entitled to one hundred sixty (160) hours of vacation leave with full pay. D. With 20 Years or More of Service A full-time employee with twenty (20) or more years of service with the University (or State) shall have earned and is entitled to two hundred (200) hours of vacation leave with full pay. An employee must be in an active pay status (i.e., working or on approved paid leave) to earn vacation leave credits.
