Common use of Earning Clause in Contracts

Earning. All full-time teachers shall earn 15 sick leave days each year of service while employed by the School District. Annual sick leave shall accrue monthly as it is earned on a proportionate basis to the teacher's work year.

Earning. All full-time teachers shall earn 15 sick leave days each per contract year of service while employed by the School District. Annual sick leave shall accrue monthly as it be credited at the beginning of the contract year. If a teacher’s employment is earned on a proportionate basis discontinued with the district prior to the teacher's work end of the contract year, credited sick leave will be prorated and withheld from the employee’s final paycheck.
