Common use of Education & Assistance Fund Clause in Contracts

Education & Assistance Fund. a. The Employer shall contribute and remit such contributions to the Union’s Education & Assistance Fund as specified in Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement. b. The Education and Assistance Fund shall be used by the Union to assist members in exercising their right to work and have access to job sites, to educate and instruct members in the competent practice of their trade, and to instruct specific members in labour relations. c. The total amount owing shall be remitted monthly to the Union by the fifteenth (15th) of the month following the month for which the contributions were made. Contributions shall be recorded electronically and itemized separately.
