Common use of Education & Assistance Fund Clause in Contracts

Education & Assistance Fund. 18.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Education & Assistance Fund an amount as specified in Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement. 18.02 The Education and Assistance Fund shall be used by the Union to assist members in respect of all health and safety related training, and other skills training as might have relevance for their work for the Employer, and to instruct specific members in labour relations. 18.03 The total amount owing shall be remitted to the Union together with, and in the same manner as union dues, as described in Article 6.01.

The total amount owing shall be remitted to the Union together with, and in the same manner as union duesUnion Dues, as described in Article 6.01but separately itemized.
