Common use of Education Bonus Clause in Contracts

Education Bonus. Permanent employees designated as DI or DM who possess, based on level of proficiency demonstrated by the acquisition of certificates issued by the California Commission on Peace Officers' Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.), an Advanced P.O.S.T. certificate shall be compensated at seven and one-half percent (7½%) above the base hourly wage rate established for their designated classification in the Appendix.

Effective June 26, 2015, this amount will increase from 7.5% to 8.5%. Effective June 24, 2016, this amount will increase from 8.5% to 9.5%.
