Upon initial appointment and at periodic intervals thereafter, physicians will be oriented to recognize indicators of impairment and how to confidentially report this information. The educational programs are intended to inform the medical community about physician health and stress as well as the recognition and identification of disorders which may lead to impairment. The Committee for Physicians Health (CPH) of the Medical Society of the State New York (MSSNY) will be contacted to offer the education program to the medical/dental staff.
