Efforts to Maintain Discipline. The Boards and Superintendent shall support and uphold employees in their efforts to maintain discipline in the Districts, and shall give immediate response to all employees’ requests regarding discipline problems. Further, the authority of employees to use prudent disciplinary measures for the safety and well- being of students and teachers is supported by the Board. In the exercise of authority by an employee to control and maintain order and discipline, the employee may use reasonable and professional judgment concerning matters not provided for by specific policies adopted by the Boards and not inconsistent with federal and state laws or regulations.
