Elderly person(s) Elderly: how many persons in your family are 62 years of age and over?
Elderly. One or two person household with a person at least 62 years of age.
Elderly. The ability to maintain core body temperature decreases with age. This is primarily due to circulatory conditions and decreased sweat gland function. The body must be able to activate its natural cooling processes in order to maintain core body temperature.
Elderly. DOGS: Owners of elderly dogs (approaching the end of life) need to know if in the event Owner’s dog passes on while in our care, our policy is to transport Owner’s dog to Owner’s vet (within 15 miles) where he/she will be held until Owner can be reached by the Vet for further instructions. If Owner’s vet is closed or outside of our transport distance, then we will transport to the nearest 24-hour facility. Trip charge will apply based on time/distance.

This is also called choice counseling.

DEVIATEDFLEX ROUTE SERVICE: Transportation of persons over prescribed fixed routes according to published schedules that repeat on a daily basis with deviation in routes to provide service to disabled, elderly persons, and general public.
Elderly. For purposes of this program and qualifying a project as meeting the low- and moderate-income national objective by principally benefitting seniors, a senior citizen is a person aged 62 or older.
Elderly. The elderly are well represented in the population of PD patients and constitute a high proportion of those studied in clinical trials of APO-go®. Their management has not differed from that of younger patients. However, extra caution is recommended during initiation of therapy because of the risk of postural hypotension.
