Vacant Unit definition

Vacant Unit. The Student must keep an available Unit ready for a Roommate to move in should they not have a current Roommate. Assigned furniture needs to be available, and the Unit needs to be kept in a clean, orderly and sanitary fashion, which is satisfactory to the Office of Residence Life. In the case that a vacancy occurs in a Unit, Student agrees to accept an assigned Roommate or move to another Unit at the request of the College. RESIDENCE/UNIT CHANGES Unit Changes: Unit changes are not permitted without prior approval from the Resident Director. Unit changes may not be made during the first or last three weeks of any semester. Vacant Unit means any apartment or unit at the Property that is vacant as of the Closing Date and that was vacated by the Tenant most recently occupying such unit at least five (5) days prior to the Closing (i.e., if a unit becomes vacant less than five days prior to the Closing, it is not a "Vacant Unit" as to which Seller’s make ready obligations or Rent Ready Credit apply) and (iii) "Rent Ready Credit" shall mean $750.00 for each Vacant Unit not in Rent Ready Condition at Closing.
Vacant Unit means any residential apartment unit at the Properties that is unoccupied as of the Closing Date and that was vacated by the tenant most recently occupying such unit at least three (3) Business Days prior to the Closing Date (i.e., if a unit becomes vacant less than three (3) Business Days prior to the Closing Date, it is not a "Vacant Unit" as to which Purchaser might be eligible to receive a credit). If requested by Purchaser, representatives of Sellers and Purchaser shall conduct a walk-through (the "Walk-Through") of the Properties on or around the third (3rd) Business Day prior to the Closing Date in order to determine the amount of such credit, if any, to be given to Purchaser.

More Definitions of Vacant Unit

Vacant Unit. A residential housing unit that does not have a tenant occupant. In order to be eligible for the NLRP Initiative, all the units contained in the Application must have been vacant by February 14, 2017. A landlord may not intentionally displace a tenant prior to application to the NLRP Initiative in order to be able to apply to the NLRP Initiative.
Vacant Unit. A residential housing unit that does not have a tenant occupant. In order to be eligible for the RRDP, all the units contained in the Application must have been vacant prior to the date the NOFA is published. A landlord may not intentionally displace a tenant in order to be able to apply to the RRDP.
