Electrical connections Equipment requiring electrical connections for operation shall either be hard wired to the Authorized User's provided connections or the Contractor shall be responsible for a male electrical union. All connections shall be made by the Contractor and accomplished in accordance with National Electrical Code requirements. Electrical Equipment Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. ELECTRONIC CONTRACTING The parties agree that if this Contract is transmitted electronically neither party shall contest the validity of this Contract, or any acknowledgement thereof, on the basis that this Contract or acknowledgement contains an electronic signature.
