Eligibility for Continuing Teaching Contracts. 1. A bargaining unit member who is eligible for continuing contract consideration must notify the Superintendent in writing on or before September 30th of the school year in which the member becomes eligible in order to be considered for issuance of a continuing contract in April of that school year. A member who does not notify the Superintendent on or before September 30th will not be eligible for continuing contract consideration until April of the following year. This is in addition to Ohio Revised Code Section 3319.11(B).
