EMERGENCY LEAVE FOR FAMILY ILLNESS. In the case of sudden illness in the family of an employee, a principal may grant up to three day’s leave, with pay, each school year to an employee so that he/she may care for that member provided that the employee has made every effort to obtain alternate care.
