Common use of Employee Assistance and Benefit Plans Clause in Contracts

Employee Assistance and Benefit Plans. (a) The Employer will provide, either through its own resources or through a specialized firm engaged by the Employer, career counselling and/ or job search assistance to the Employee for a period of two (2) months after the layoff. The Employer and the Union shall explore the availability of other sources of assistance for retraining and job search through provincial or federal government sources.
