Common use of Employee Health and Safety Clause in Contracts

Employee Health and Safety. A. When the university requires an employee to use or wear health or safety equipment, such equipment will be provided by the university. B. Employees shall perform their duties in a safe manner and shall comply with the university’s safety guidelines/procedures. Any employee becoming aware of a work-related accident shall immediately notify the supervisor or the supervisor’s designee of the area where the incident occurred. C. When an employee believes an unsafe or unhealthy working condition exists in the work area, the employee shall immediately report the condition to the employee’s supervisor.
