Employee Rights and Protection in Representation. A. RIGHT TO ORGANIZE - Pursuant to Chapter 123, Public Laws of 1974, the Board and Association agree that every employee shall have the right freely to organize, join and support the Association and its affiliates for the purpose of engaging in collective negotiations and other legal concerted activities and the right not to participate in such actions. Both parties to this Agreement shall not discourage or deprive or coerce any employee in the employment of any rights conferred by Chapter 123, Public Laws of 1974, or other law of New Jersey and the United States; they shall not discriminate against any employee with respect to hours, wages or any terms or conditions of employment by reason of this membership in the Association and its affiliates or by his lack of membership therein, his participation or lack thereof in any activities of the Association and its affiliates.
