MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATION. A. All members of the faculty shall automatically, as a condition of employment, become and remain members or Associate Members of the Association, as provided in the By-laws of the Association. The University will provide the Association with a list of faculty members, by category of appointment, annually by October 1, and will provide a list of changes in faculty members monthly thereafter. B. All Professional Counsellors and Librarians shall automatically, as a condition of employment, become and remain members of the Association. The University will provide the Association with a list of Professional Counsellors and Librarians annually by October 1, and will provide a list of changes in these members monthly thereafter. C. The University agrees to deduct the Association fees each month from the salary of each Association member, and to deduct the initiation fee from the first month's salary of each new member. D. Faculty members who accept appointment to administrative positions above the title of Chair/Director in the academic stream or who accept appointment to administrative positions in the non-academic administration will become Associate Members of the Association for the duration of their appointment. X. Xxxxxxxxxx who accept appointment to the position of Chief Librarian or Associate Chief Librarian or who accept appointment to administrative positions outside the Library in the non-academic administration will become Associate Members of the Association for the duration of their appointment.

MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATION. No member of the bargaining unit shall be required to join the Association as a condition of employment. However, all present and all future members of the bargaining unit shall be considered members of the Association unless they withdraw from the Association in the manner specified in Article I.7.3.
MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATION. Except as provided for under Section 17 of the Labour Relations Code, staff members appointed to a position within the bargaining unit, shall be required, as a condition of employment, to apply for membership in the Association. Nothing in this agreement shall require the University to terminate the employment of a staff member because of an Association decision to deny or terminate membership in the Association.
MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATION. Buyer understands and agrees that upon recordation of the Grant Deed conveying the Property to Buyer, Buyer shall automatically become a “Member” of the Association referenced above. Buyer shall be deemed to have agreed to and shall be entitled to exercise all of the rights (including, but not limited to, voting rights in such Association), and shall be obligated to perform all of the obligations (including, but not limited to, the payment of Assessments) of a Member, all as more particularly set forth in the applicable Project Documents referenced above.

The College agrees to: 2.3 The appropriate fees of the Association shall be deducted from the pay of the Members and remitted to the Association. 2.4 A report with the name, position, and type of Contract of each newly hired Member shall be forwarded to the President of the Association or designate three times per academic year. 2.5 A list of all current Members shall be forwarded to the Association President each October by the Chief Human Resources Officer or designate; this list will include the position and status of employment of each Member.

Regular employees have the right to join, not join, maintain or drop their membership in the Association, as they see fit. MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATION. ‌ A new member of the Association who has an individual contract with the Union shall, upon joining the Association, be covered and bound by this Agreement except that any more favorable terms and conditions contained in such prior Agreement shall be deemed incorporated in and part of this Agreement, with the same force and effect as if set forth herein at length, limited, however, in its application to employees in the employ of the Employer (member of the Association) at the time of his becoming an Association member. If prior to the date set for the expiration of this Agreement, the Asso­ ciation shall for any reason expel an Employer member from its organi­ zation, or if such Employer shall resign from the Association, or for any other reason whatsoever cease to be a member of the Association, this Agreement shall, at the option of the Union nevertheless be and con­ tinue to remain in full force and effect as between such Employer and the Union, and such Employer shall be and continue to remain personal­ ly and individually liable hereunder for and during term hereof, and such liability shall be deemed to have survived the termination of such membership, and shall continue for and during the full term hereof; ex­ cept, however, that the provisions of Article T\venty of this Agreement shall thereafter be deemed suspended and of no force and effect; and ex­ cept, further, that at the option of the Union, such Employer shall there­ after lose his right to the arbitration of complaints, grievances or dis­ putes as provided for in this Agreement. And in such case should com­ plaint, grievance or dispute arise between the Union and such Employer, or between the employees and such Employer, the decision of the Union on such complaint, grievance or dispute shall be final and binding upon such Employer. And further, in such case the employees shall not be obliged to continue with their work in the store until the Employer has fully complied with the decision of the Union on such complaint, grievance or dispute, anything in this Agreement to the con­ trary notwithstanding. And it is further agreed that, anything in this Agreement to the con­ trary notwithstanding, the Union may at any time after an Employer ceases to be a member of the Association, terminate this Agreement as between itself and such Employer upon giving three (3) days’ notice in writing to such Employer that it has elected to terminate this Agrement as between itself and such Employer; and this ...
MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATION. (a) Neither the COMMITTEE nor its representatives or agents shall interfere with, restrain or coerce employees in the exercise of the right of self‐organization, to bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing on questions of wages, hours and other conditions of employment, and to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection. (b) The ASSOCIATION shall be responsible for representing the interests of all employees without discrimination and without regard to employee organization membership.
MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASSOCIATION. Membership in the Association and the voting rights of Members shall be determined in accordance with the terms, criteria and conditions set forth in the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws of the Association, said By-Laws being incorporated herein and made a part hereof by reference.
