Common use of EMPLOYEE's Initial Responsibility Clause in Contracts

EMPLOYEE's Initial Responsibility. (a) It is the desire and goal of both parties that all matters, which under this Agreement, would be the proper subject matter for a Grievance shall be resolved, if at all possible, without the filing of a formal Grievance; and every reasonable effort shall be used to reach a solution at this level.
