EMPLOYEES ON DUTY. For safety purposes, Management will assign at least two employees to each section of the maintenance area (repair and utility) whenever each section is in operation. If only two are assigned and one person fails to report to work, Management will make every reasonable effort to call in another person, but will not be held responsible for wages until the second person is on the clock. As an exception, Management may have a single Utility person but only on an already established shift. Section 7 - SAFETY RELATED BUS CHANGES Should a question arise as to whether or not a bus has a safety- related issue, the Maintenance supervisor on duty will make the final determination.
