Part-Time Employee Health Benefits. Part-time employees in allocated positions of thirty-two (32) hours or more biweekly (0.40 FTE minimum) shall be eligible to participate in the County’s medical, dental and vision plans, and the County’s contribution toward their premiums shall be pro-rated. Pro-ration shall be based on the number of pay status hours in the pay period, excluding overtime. Employees working less than 32 hours bi-weekly and receiving benefits, prior to the implementation of the Human Resources Management System (HRMS), will be grandfathered and remain eligible to receive pro-rated benefits.

Part-Time Employee Health Benefits. Part-time unit members who are regularly assigned to work six (6) or more hours per day shall receive the District’s maximum contribution for medical insurance. Part-time unit members regularly assigned to work at least five (5) hours per day, but less than six (6) hours per day shall receive three-quarters (3/4) of the District’s maximum contribution. Part-time unit members assigned to work at least four (4) hours per day, but less than five (5) hours per day shall receive one-half (1/2) of the district’s maximum contribution. The District shall pay the full cost of vision insurance through VSP and dental insurance through CVT for all eligible part-time unit members.

  • Retiree Health Benefits 1. There is currently in effect a retiree health benefit program for retired members of LACERS under LAAC Division 4, Chapter 11. All covered employees who are members of LACERS, regardless of retirement tier, shall contribute to LACERS four percent (4%) of their pre-tax compensation earnable toward vested retiree health benefits as provided by this program. The retiree health benefit available under this program is a vested benefit for all covered employees who make this contribution, including employees enrolled in LACERS Tier 3.

  • PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Regular part time employees shall be provided the opportunity to purchase benefits of one of the plans described in Article XVII, Sections B and C at the Employer plan’s premium cost. The Employer will pay the Employer’s monthly share of the premium cost at a ratio proportionate to the employee’s part time condition of employment contingent upon receipt of the employee’s yearly share of the employee’s premium.

For part-time employees who are members of the Hospital's pension plan the percentage in lieu of fringe benefits is twelve percent (12%).

  • Layoff Benefits All rights to which a certificated employee was entitled at the time of his/her layoff including unused accumulated sick leave and credits toward leave eligibility will be restored to the certificated employee upon his/her return to active employment, and the certificated employee will be placed upon the proper step of the salary schedule for the certificated employee's current position according to the certificated employee's experience and education.

  • Disabled Employees If an employee becomes disabled with the result that he is unable to carry out the regular functions of his position, the Hospital may establish a special classification and salary with the hope of providing an opportunity of continued employment.
