EMPLOYEES WITH LESS THAN FIVE YEARS OF SERVICE. The City shall purchase a minimum of forty (40) hours. At the employee's option, the City will purchase all or any part of the remaining forty (40) hours. Each year, at least thirty (30) days prior to the employee's anniversary date, he/she must notify the city in writing if he/she wishes to have the City purchase any hours in excess of the forty (40) hours as provided herein.
