Employer Recognition of the Union. a) The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agent for employees except as excluded in Article 2. The Employer agrees to negotiate with the Union or its designated bargaining representatives concerning all matters affecting the relationship between the employees and the Employer for the purpose of resolving differences that may arise between them, and to strive for amicable settlements. b) No employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Union at meetings with the Employer’s representative without the proper authorization of the Union. The Union will supply the Employer’s representative with the names of its officers. The Employer’s representative shall supply the Union with a list of personnel with whom the Union may be required to transact business.
