Service Recognition. For purposes of any Seaport Entertainment Benefit Arrangements providing benefits to any Transferring Employees, the Seaport Entertainment Group shall, from and after the applicable Benefit Commencement Date: (i) provide or cause to be provided to each Transferring Employee full credit for purposes of eligibility to participate, vesting and level of benefits under each Seaport Entertainment Benefit Arrangement under which such Transferring Employee is eligible to participate on or after the applicable Benefit Commencement Date for service accrued on or prior to the applicable Benefit Commencement Date with the HHH Group to the same extent that such credit was recognized by the HHH Group under comparable HHH Benefit Arrangements; (ii) use commercially reasonable efforts to waive all pre-existing conditions, exclusions and waiting periods with respect to participation and coverage requirements applicable to the Transferring Employees and their eligible dependents under any Seaport Entertainment Benefit Arrangements in which such Transferring Employees may be eligible to participate after the Distribution Date, except, with respect to pre-existing conditions or exclusions, to the extent such pre-existing conditions or exclusions would apply under the analogous HHH Benefit Arrangement; and (iii) use commercially reasonable efforts to provide each Transferring Employee and their eligible dependents under any Seaport Entertainment Benefit Arrangement with credit for any co-payments and deductibles paid during the portion of the plan year of the corresponding HHH Benefit Arrangement, as applicable, ending on the date such Transferring Employee’s participation in the Seaport Entertainment Benefit Arrangement begins (to the same extent that such credit was given under the analogous HHH Benefit Arrangement, as applicable, prior to the date that the Transferring Employee first participates in the Seaport Entertainment Benefit Arrangement) in satisfying any applicable deductible or out-of-pocket requirements under the Seaport Entertainment Benefit Arrangement; provided, however, that no such credit shall be provided under the foregoing provisions (A) to the extent it would result in duplication of benefits, or (B) for any purpose with respect to any defined benefit pension plan, postretirement welfare plan or any Seaport Entertainment Benefit Arrangement under which similarly situated employees do not receive credit for prior service or that is grandfathered or frozen...
Service Recognition. (a) From and after the Distribution Time, and in addition to any applicable obligations under applicable Law, SpinCo shall, and shall cause each member of the SpinCo Group to, give each SpinCo Employee full credit for purposes of eligibility, vesting, and determination of level of benefits under any SpinCo Benefit Plan for such SpinCo Employee’s prior service with any member of the Company Group or SpinCo Group or any predecessor thereto, to the same extent such service was recognized by the applicable Company Benefit Plan; provided, that, such service shall not be recognized to the extent it would result in the duplication of benefits or accruals under any defined benefit pension plan.
(b) Except to the extent prohibited by applicable Law, as soon as administratively practicable on or after the Plan Transition Date with respect to any applicable SpinCo Benefit Plan that is a health or welfare benefit plan: (i) SpinCo shall waive or cause to be waived all limitations as to preexisting conditions or waiting periods with respect to participation and coverage requirements applicable to each SpinCo Employee under any SpinCo Benefit Plan in which SpinCo Employees participate (or are eligible to participate) to the same extent that such conditions and waiting periods were satisfied or waived under an analogous Company Benefit Plan, and (ii) SpinCo shall use commercially reasonable efforts to provide or cause each SpinCo Employee to be provided with credit for any co-payments, deductibles or other out-of-pocket amounts paid during the plan year in which the SpinCo Employees become eligible to participate in the SpinCo Benefit Plans in satisfying any applicable co-payments, deductibles or other out-of-pocket requirements under any such plans for such plan year.
Service Recognition. SpinCo shall give, or shall cause its Affiliates to give, each SpinCo Group Employee full credit for all purposes under any SpinCo Benefit Plan for such SpinCo Group Employee’s service with Parent or any member of the Parent Group prior to the Effective Time to the extent such service was recognized by the corresponding Parent Benefit Plan immediately prior to the Effective Time; provided, however, that such service shall not be recognized to the extent that such recognition would result in the duplication of benefits.
Service Recognition a. Service within New Zealand as a trained early childhood teacher in a teaching capacity in a licensed early childhood centre or the Early Childhood Service of Xx Xxx o Xx Xxxx Pounamu (The Correspondence School) shall be recognised for salary purposes.
b. Service within New Zealand as a Head or Senior Teacher in a kindergarten shall be recognised for salary purposes.
c. Service as a qualified certificated teacher employed in a teaching position within a New Zealand state or state integrated school (including Kaupapa Māori education) shall be recognised for salary purposes.
d. Service of qualified certificated relieving teachers employed continuously for six weeks or more in a New Zealand licensed early childhood centre or a state or state integrated school (including Kaupapa Māori) shall be recognised for salary purposes.
Service Recognition. 2.5.1 Service within New Zealand of a trained early childhood teacher in a teaching capacity in a licensed early childhood centre or the Early Childhood Service of Te Kura shall be recognised, upon production of the relevant records from the previous employer. Service of relieving and temporary teachers shall be recognised for salary purposes. Any other service (e.g. overseas service) may be recognised for salary purposes.
Service Recognition. In addition to the wage rates per Section 11.1.1, employees in benefit categories X-0, X-0, X-0 or C-1 shall be entitled to $0.30 per hour pay differential after the completion of their 15th year of service, and shall be entitled to a non-compounded $0.75 per hour pay differential (i.e. an increase of $0.45 from their $0.30 differential) after completion of their 20th year of service with a satisfactory performance evaluation. Service recognition will commence at the start of the school year. Employees attaining their 15th or 20th year service date in September will receive the benefit during that school year, but employees attaining their 15th or 20th year of service date in October or later must wait until the start of the next school year to receive the benefit.1
Service Recognition. For purposes of service recognition only, all University committees and administrators evaluating bargaining unit faculty performance shall consider and credit service to the local Akron-AAUP union in the same manner as they consider and credit service to all other University committees; and, shall consider and credit service to the state and national AAUP in the same manner as they consider and credit service to all other professional associations.
Service Recognition. Employees shall receive for purposes of eligibility to participate and vesting, (but not for the purposes of benefit accrual) under any employee benefit plan, program or arrangement established or maintained by the Purchaser or the Pershing Companies credit for service accrued or deemed accrued on or prior to the Closing Date with the Pershing Companies or any of their Affiliates. Notwithstanding the above, Employees shall receive credit for purposes of eligibility to receive benefits for purposes of vacation pay, early retirement subsidy (if any), and any severance plan, program and arrangement.
Service Recognition a. For the purposes of calculating additional entitlement to sick leave, the employer shall recognise service as a teacher in a licensed early childhood centre, as a senior teacher with a kindergarten association, service in a teaching capacity in the Early Childhood Service of Xx Xxx o Xx Xxxx Pounamu, in a teaching capacity elsewhere in the education service, or as an officer in the state services as defined in the State Sector Act 1988, or in any amendment passed in substitution for that Act.
b. For the purposes of calculating additional entitlement to sick leave, part-time teaching service is assessed on the basis that eighty hours equals one-month's service or 1,000 equals one-year's service. Where part-time service consists of 20 or more child contact hours per week it may be credited as full-time service.
c. Notwithstanding the above, employees who were employed as at 19 October 1992 shall continue to have all periods of service previously recognised for sick leave purposes credited for sick leave purposes.
Service Recognition. Newco shall give, or shall cause its Affiliates to give, each Newco Group Employee full credit for purposes of eligibility to participate, vesting and accrual of pension, paid time off and vacation benefits under any Newco Benefit Plan (other than a defined benefit pension plan) for such Newco Group Employee’s service with Vornado or any of its Affiliates prior to the Effective Time to the same extent such service was recognized by the corresponding Vornado Benefit Plan immediately prior to the Effective Time and for purposes of any severance benefits; provided, however, that such service shall not be recognized to the extent that such recognition would result in the duplication of benefits or as otherwise provided by applicable local Law.
