Common use of Employment Equity Clause in Contracts

Employment Equity. (a) The parties to this Collective Agreement are committed to employment equity in the employment of such persons as aboriginal people, people with disabilities, members of racial minorities and women. It is therefore mutually agreed that the parties to this Collective Agreement will endeavor to remove barriers to employment and further work towards the prevention of discrimination and harassment towards all workers.
