EMPLOYMENT OF RETIREES. 1. A retiree is defined as a certificated staff member who has retired though State Teachers Retirement System and is receiving a monthly stipend from said retirement system. 2. A newly employed retiree shall be placed in his/her actual educational column at Step 5 of the current contract.
