EMPLOYMENT SENIORITY. A. The Board may reduce the working force because of lack of work. In the event a tenured secretary is laid off because of lack of work, the secretary shall exercise her total employment seniority to replace a less senior secretary regardless of classification, provided the more senior secretary is qualified to perform the duties of the classification into which she will move. Final determination of a secretary’s qualifications will be made by the Superintendent.
