Ending Job Sharing During School Year. If one of the job share teachers requests an end to job sharing during the school year, the remaining job share teacher must agree to teach full-time unless the teacher and the District can find a replacement. The job share teacher’s request to end job sharing will not be granted until a suitable replacement is found. Without 30 calendar days’ notice from the exiting job share teacher to find a suitable replacement, a $500 fee will be assessed the exiting job share teacher to cover expenses related to replacing him/her as per ARTICLE XIX, Section 1.

  • Employee leaving during notice period An employee given notice of termination in circumstances of redundancy may terminate their employment during the period of notice. The employee is entitled to receive the benefits and payments they would have received under this clause had they remained in employment until the expiry of the notice, but is not entitled to any payment in lieu of any remaining notice.
