Duty Day/Duty Year. Subd. 1.

Duty Day/Duty Year. Recognizing that ECFE teachers do not work a traditional duty day or duty year, the provisions of Article XIV, Hours of Service, and Article XV, Length of the School Year, do not apply to ECFE teachers.
Duty Day/Duty Year. Each ECE teacher shall be assigned their number of duty days and hours of work each school year by the School District, which are subject to change during the school year based on enrollment, funding, and other factors.

Recognizing that the ECFE and XXX teachers work a nontraditional duty day and duty year, the provisions of Article 6 - The School Year, and Article 7 - The School Day, shall not be applicable except that ECFE and XXX teachers will have preparation time not less than that time provided in Article 7 proportional to their duty day.
Duty Day/Duty Year. Subd. 1. Recognizing that the Early and Family Education teachers work a nontraditional duty day and duty year, the provisions of Article VI, Length of the School Year, and Article VII, Hours of Service, shall not be applicable except that Early and Family Education teachers will have preparation and workshop time not less than that time provided to teachers proportional to their duty day and duty year. As is defined in the Agreement between the Association and the District, preparation time is normally used for planning and follow-up lessons. However, preparation time may also be used for parent conferences, individual student/parent assistance, faculty or team meetings or curriculum meetings.

Related to Duty Day/Duty Year

  • Duty Day Duty Day shall mean a day included in the university calendar or individual faculty member's appointment on which a faculty member engages in duties as described in this Agreement.

  • Duty Year A. The duty year for teachers shall not exceed 187 days, including days for professional activities.

  • JURY DUTY PAY All employees required to serve on jury duty shall be paid by the School District the difference between their regular pay and jury duty pay. In implementing this section, the School District shall continue to pay the employee the regular rate of pay and the employee shall be obligated upon receipt of the jury duty pay from the governmental agency to immediately remit any witness fees received to the School District less any mileage expenses. Absences under this section shall not be deducted from accumulated leave.

  • Extra Duty Pay A years experience shall mean extra-duty activity. Credit for up to two (2) years.   • Duty Hours 3.1.1 Refer to applicable Schedule.

  • Civic Duty Leave A. Employees summoned for jury duty will be granted a leave of absence with pay for time lost from their regular work schedule while on said jury duty upon presentation of the appropriate summons to the department head by the employee.

  • Union Dues Deduction The Company will deduct union dues from new employees who have worked a minimum of forty (40) hours.
