Ending leave early. Unless the Employee and Employer agree otherwise, an Employee may end a leave earlier than the expiry of seventeen (17) weeks by giving the Employer written notice at least two (2) weeks before the day they wish to end the leave.

Unless the Employee employee and Employer agree otherwise, an Employee employee may end a leave earlier than the expiry of seventeen twenty-eight (1728) weeks by giving the Employer written notice at least two forty-eight (248) weeks before hours’ notice of his or her expected date of return. Where an employee has been provided necessary time off under this section and where the day they wish Employer has made arrangements for alternate staffing for covering the anticipated absence, the Employer shall have the right to end cancel the leaverelief shifts scheduled to cover the anticipated absence without additional cost.
