Enforcement of protection. The Parties shall enforce the protection provided for in Articles 10.18 through 10.23 on their own initiative by appropriate intervention of their authorities. They shall also enforce such protection at the request of an interested party.
Enforcement of protection. Each Party shall enforce the protection of geographical indications in accordance with Articles 233 to 235 through appropriate administrative action by its public authorities. Each Party shall also enforce such protection at the request of an interested person.
Enforcement of protection. The Parties shall enforce the protection provided for in Articles 297 to 300 of this Agreement by appropriate adminis trative actions or legal proceedings, as appropriate, including at the customs border (export and import), in order to prevent and stop any unlawful use of the protected geographical indications. They shall also enforce such protection at the request of an interested party. Without prejudice to the Republic of Moldova's previous commitments to grant protection for the Union geographical indications derived from international agreements on the protection of geographical indications and the enforcement thereof, including the commitments undertaken in the Lisbon Agreement for the Protection of Appellations of Origin and their International Registration, and in accordance with Article 301 of this Agreement, the Republic of Moldova shall benefit from a transitional period of five years from 1 April 2013 to put in place all complementary actions neces sary to stop any unlawful use of the protected geographical indications, in particular the measures at the customs border.
Enforcement of protection. [Purpose of the Article: own initiative protection by authorities]
Enforcement of protection. 1. Each Party shall provide for enforcement of protection of geographical indications by appropriate administrative action, to the extent provided for by its domestic law, to prohibit a person from manufacturing, preparing, packaging, labelling, selling, importing or advertising a food commodity in a manner that is false, misleading or deceptive or is likely to create an erroneous impression regarding its origin.
2. Each Party shall at least enforce the protection provided for in Articles 12.27 (Protection of Geographical Indications) and 12.30 (Relationship to Trademarks) at the request of an interested party.
Enforcement of protection. The Parties shall enforce the protection provided for in this Agreement by appropriate action of their authorities. They shall also enforce such protection at the request of an interested party. This is without prejudice to the rights of interested parties to seek judicial enforcement.
Enforcement of protection. The Parties shall enforce the protection provided for in Articles 297 to 300 of this Agreement by appropriate adminis- trative actions or legal proceedings, as appropriate, including at the customs border (export and import), in order to prevent and stop any unlawful use of the protected geographical indications. Enforcement of protection. Each Party shall authorise its competent authorities to take appropriate measures ex officio or on request of an interested party in accordance with its laws and regulations to protect geographical indications listed in Annex 14-B.
Enforcement of protection. The Parties shall enforce the protection provided for in Articles 204 to 206 of this Agreement by appropriate action by their authorities including at the customs border. They shall also enforce such protection at the request of an interested party.
1. Products which were produced and labelled in conformity with national law before this Agreement entered into force but which do not comply with the requirements of this Agreement, may continue to be sold until stocks run out.
2. Products which were produced and labelled, in conformity with domestic law, with the geographical indications listed in paragraphs 3 and 4 below after this Agreement entered into force and before the termination of the periods referred to in paragraphs 3 and 4 below, but which do not comply with the requirements of this Agreement, may continue to be sold in the territory of the Party where the product originated until stocks run out.
3. For a transitional period of 10 years from the entry into force of this Agreement, the protection pursuant to this Agreement of the following geographical indications of the EU Party shall not preclude these geographical indications from being used in order to designate and present certain comparable products originating in Ukraine:
Enforcement of protection. The Contracting Parties shall enforce the protection provided for in Articles 2 to 6 by appropriate administrative action by their public authorities. They shall also enforce such protection at the request of an interested party.
