Engineering, Design & Survey. 1) LSI will prepare an engineering design survey of the existing conditions within the area shown in GREEN on Exhibit B. Survey will include Digital Terrain Model showing 1’ contours based on spot elevations, tops, toes, grade breaks, flowlines and other ground features found on site. All improvements and visible utilities will be shown and labeled. Accessible manholes found on site will be detailed and labeled with pipe sizes, directions, and flowline elevations. Existing sidewalks will include spot elevations at 20’ intervals to determine ADA routing. LSI will locate all trees measuring 8” in diameter and larger based on City of Austin tree standards. Trees will be located, tagged, identified and sized at 4.5’ above natural ground. LSI makes no guarantee or certification regarding the accuracy of tree name identification.   • Architect/Engineer (A/E) means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1001 and/or a firm employed by Owner or a design-build contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.

  • Design Professional to Design Work The Design Professional Contract requires the Design Professional to design and to prepare the Contract Documents, a copy of which shall be furnished to the Contractor upon request. The Design Professional Contract requires the Design Professional to designate a readily accessible representative (either on Site or by computer, phone or fax or otherwise) who shall have authority promptly to render decisions and to furnish information required of the Design Professional.

  • Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7. On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account. Forest Service engineering shall be completed according to the schedule in A8. Should Forest Service be unable to perform the designated survey and design by the completion date or other agreed to time, upon written agreement, Purchaser shall assume responsibility for such work.   • Schematic Design Documents In accordance with the approved Preliminary Design and Construction Schedule and based upon approval of and comments made by the Owner regarding the Concept Design Studies, the Design Professional shall prepare and submit to the Owner Schematic Design Documents, including drawings and outline specifications. These documents shall represent a further development of the approved design concept, providing additional detail and specificity regarding the intended design solution. Typically, all such documents shall be drawn to scale, indicating materials and assemblies, as appropriate, to convey the design intent and to illustrate the Project’s basic elements, scale and relationship to the Site. All major pieces of furniture and equipment to be fixed or supplied by the CM/GC shall be illustrated to scale. (See ASTM Standard Practice E 1804-02, August 2007, Sections 6.3, 8.2 and 8.3 for guidance on information which is generally developed in Schematic Design.)
