Common use of Entitlement Protection Clause in Contracts

Entitlement Protection. An employee's request for vacation leave, received at least thirty (30) days prior to the leave date, cannot be denied if such denial would result in the employee losing any vacation entitlement in accordance with Section 16.4, below, and if a previous request for vacation leave has been denied during the six (6) month period preceding December 1 of each year.
