Equipment and Apparel. (a) The Department shall furnish at no expense to the employee all proper and necessary tools and protective equipment which it requires an employee to use in the performance of his/her duties. Except as provided in this section, all such tools and protective equipment shall be and remain the property of the Department. When renewals or replacements are requested, the old tools and protective equipment must be turned in or the loss thereof satisfactorily explained.
Equipment and Apparel. 8.1. I acknowledge and agree that: I will wear only such items of apparel, and use only such equipment, when participating in the Winter Series, that may be approved of or prescribed by VSA and Associated Entities; I will wear my own items of apparel, and use my own equipment, when participating in the Winter Series, except when such items of apparel and equipment has been issued to me by VSA and Associated Entities; I have sole responsibility for the condition of my equipment, including the equipment that has been issued to me by VSA and Associated Entities; and I have sole responsibility for my own possessions, items of apparel and equipment, including the items of apparel and equipment that have been issued to me by VSA and Associated Entities.
