Evaluation Cycle: Annual Orientation. A) At the start of each school year, the superintendent, principal or designee shall conduct a meeting for Educators and Evaluators focused substantially on educator evaluation. The superintendent, principal or designee shall: i) Provide an overview of the evaluation process, including goal setting and the educator plans. ii) Provide District and School goals and priorities, as well as professional development opportunities related to those goals and priorities. iii) Provide all Educators with directions for obtaining a copy of the forms used by the district. These may be electronically provided when the availability and use of technology permit. iv) The faculty meeting may be recorded to facilitate orientation of Educators hired after the beginning of the school year, provided that an announcement is made at the beginning of the meeting that it is being recorded and no one objects.
