Common use of Evening Premium Clause in Contracts

Evening Premium. Any employee who is required to work on any shift where the majority of their working hours fall between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. the following day shall be paid an evening shift premium in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay in the amount of forty (40¢) cents per hour for all hours worked on that shift.
