Exemptions to Apprenticeship Requirements a. The following are exempt from having to comply with California apprenticeship requirements. These types of contractors do not need to submit a DAS-140, DAS-142, make training fund contributions, or utilize apprentices: i. When the Contractor holds a sole proprietor license (“Owner-Operator”) and no workers were employed by the Contractor. In other words, the contractor performed the entire work from start to finish and worked alone. ii. Contractors performing in non-apprenticeable crafts. “Apprenticeable” crafts are denoted with a pound symbol “#” in front of the craft name on the prevailing wage determination. iii. When the Contractor has a direct contract with the Public Agency that is under $30,000. iv. When the project is 100% federally-funded and the funding of the project does not contain any city, county, and/or state monies (unless the project is administered by a state agency in which case the apprenticeship requirements apply). v. When the project is a private project not covered by the definition of public works as found in Labor Code section 1720.

  • Check Requirements Any image of a check that I transmit to you must accurately and legibly provide all the information on the front and back of the check at the time presented to me by the drawer.   • Apprenticeship Program The parties agree to meet to discuss the development of mutually agreeable apprenticeship programs. The specific provisions of the apprenticeship programs shall be subject to agreement between the City, the Civil Service Commission (where appropriate), and the Union. Each apprenticeship program, however, shall contain at least the following terms:

  • Training Requirements Grantee will: A. Authorize and require staff (including volunteers) to attend training, conferences, and meetings as directed by DSHS. B. Appropriately budget funds to meet training requirements in a timely manner, and ensure staff and volunteers are trained as specified in the training requirements listed at xxxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxxxx.xxx/hivstd/training/ and as otherwise specified by DSHS. Grantee shall document that these training requirements are met. C.
