Common use of Exhausted Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Exhausted Sick Leave. An employee who expects that his/her absence due to illness will continue beyond his/her accumulated sick leave may request a leave of absence without pay. If this request for leave of absence is approved by the College, the employee may continue health benefits insurance for a limited period of time by arranging for prepayment of premiums to the College in accordance with New Jersey Statutes.
