Common use of Extended Maternity Leave Clause in Contracts

Extended Maternity Leave. a. Teachers granted leave under Section G, Article G.22.1.a. and G.22.3.a., who choose not to return to work at the expiration of that leave may apply for extended maternity/parental leave, four weeks prior to the start of a semester or term or by May 31 in respect to leave expiring on June 30.

G22.3.1 Teachers granted leave under Section G, Article G.22.1.a. and G.22.3.a., G22.1.2 who choose not to return to work at the expiration of that leave may apply for extended maternity/parental leave, maternity leave four (4) weeks prior to the start of a semester or term term, or by May 31 31st in respect to leave expiring on June 3030th.
